Nexpace (NXPC) powers MapleStory Universe's blockchain game economy, linking player spending and item creation to its native token.
As blockchain games seek spending beyond token rewards, Nexpace reported 30.98 million NXPC in first-half game and marketplace fees against 28.14 million in gameplay rewards. Its July burn removed 3.33 million NXPC based on quarterly fees, and the next burn is planned for October, offering a coming-weeks test of player demand.
At approximately $68 million in circulating value, fee-based token removal could support a potential valuation opportunity if paid gameplay holds.
